November 16th – World No-Tobacco Day In the period of November 13-19, 2023, the team of JSC ALEVKURP is taking part in the republican antismoking information and educational campaign.

The aim of the campaign is to inform the population about harmful effects of smoking and passive smoking, promoting support of measures aimed at fighting smoking in accordance with WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control.

We are reminding you that tobacco smoke causes and aggravates many diseases affecting almost all human organs. Tobacco products as well as other carcinogenic substances are significantly associated with cancer diseases. Smoking causes 18 cancer types: lung cancer, laryngopharyngeal cancer, bladder cancer, kidney, stomach, breast cancer and others. Apart from high risk of various kind of cancer, smoking causes negative effect at the process of medical treatment of these diseases.

There is no safe cigarette or safe smoking frequency. Quitting smoking is the only effective way to reduce health risks. Remember: your decision to quit smoking will make you healthier and enhance the quality of life in total.
